I’m so glad I started blogging. It’s a great outlet and I love the community it builds. I still have much to learn, though.
As promised, I’m going to share with you a ‘blogging game’ I’ve been introduced to by Megan Potter from Flaming Renaissance to help increase visitors to your blog, to further reach your target market, and to encourage more comments from readers:

I try to take one day a week (about an hour or so) and blog surf. I go to the blogs I love, but I also visit blogs I know are in my niche and have a big blog roll. Then I play this game. I click on three blogs I don’t know in their blog roll. I read the first few posts and comment if I have something to say. if they aren’t my client or their blog is dull I move on. I pick three new blogs from each of those blogs, and three more from each of those etc… until I run out of time. The only rule is to make honest comments, even if they are just “I agree” or “great post”, otherwise people will consider it spam and delete it. So always comment on the blogs of potential clients who’s blogs you like .

I had great results just by playing this game sporadically, so I imagine by doing this on a regular and consistent basis, I can increase my blog traffic and generate more comments from readers like you. Try it out and let us know the results you experience.
