<description>Thanks for the tag, Cris! Here are 5 things about me very few people know:

1) I&#039;m incapable of following directions to the letter. I always have to throw in a little of my own personality. It usually ruins recipes.

2) When I was 21, I booked a one-way flight to Bangkok, Thailand. I spent a full month traveling on my own from island to island (Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Koh Tao), meeting new friends, scuba diving, reading, swimming, wakeboarding, bartering with the locals, and learning how to live in the moment. I eventually returned to the U.S. (obviously), but that experience changed the way I approach my life.

3) I was just hired as a Snowboard Instructor at Park City Mountain Resort (voted as one of the top five ski resorts in the world by Ski magazine). I can&#039;t believe I&#039;m going to get paid to teach kids how to play in the snow!

4) I never went to high school. I started my first year of college when I was 15 years old, and finished by the time I was 19. It&#039;s been a wild ride ever since.

5) I&#039;m afraid of heights... but I&#039;ve been sky-diving three times. Talk about facing your fears!

Thanks again, Cris! That was fun!
