I thought I’d share with you a new find… It’s an online time tracking program — free — called Toggl.

It’s pretty new and I’ve just started using it, so I’m not saying it’s either good or bad. I know there are many options out there, but what I like about this one is that it works well with the most popular browsers, and if ever you close your browser by mistake (or your PC goes to sleep), the timer continues to work as if nothing happened.

It’s important for service providers to accurately track their time, and this is one you might consider. Anyone else using Toggl? If not, what do you use? Why do you love it?

Toggl looks good, I currently use myHours.com. It’s free also. I was using another program but started subcontracting for someone and she used myHours. I had to switch for her and within a couple days had moved all my time tracking there. I like myHours because the companies I subcontract for can set it up to see my hours and I can do the same for my subcontractors. It’s also free.

    Hi Cristina,

I would also like to suggest Fanurio which does both time tracking and invoicing (I’m one of the people involved in this project).

We have designed Fanurio to help freelancers manage their work and be paid for it. It can do basic project management, time tracking and invoicing in order to have all the functionality in one place.

Unlike Toggl and myHours.com Fanurio costs $39.

    Thanks,
    Cosmina
