Did You Miss Me?
June 14th, 2007 by Cristina Favreau
Well, I’m back from my week-long mini-vacation and I just wanted to keep this post light by sharing a few highlights.
On June 2nd, I packed our van and left with my kids to spend the week with my Mom and Step-Dad where they are house-sitting in Sutton, Québec. My husband joined us on Friday. As you can tell from the picture, it’s a beautiful and private spot — perfect to reconnect with nature and rejuvenate the soul!

It was nice to take a break from the routine, breathe in the country air, enjoy the awesome weather and be with family. We had a full house — My middle sister came from New York with her 2 kids and my 5-year-old niece (my little sister’s kid) spent 3 days with us. For the first few days, we were outnumbered 4 adults to 5 kids!!! My Mom was in Grandma heaven.
My son is a lot like my husband, in that he’s a hard-core outdoor type! He can’t watch TV for more than 15 minutes before getting bored and asking to go outside. Living on a 3rd floor apartment makes it hard to do what he loves — spend the entire day outdoors, playing and exploring. So, you can imagine how much he enjoyed this vacation — his laughing smile in this picture says it all!
I was sad to leave the house and drive back to the hot, loud, crowded city of Montreal, but I’m honestly glad to be back — refreshed and ready to take on anything!
Stay tuned to find out 3 great things that happened to my business while I was away.

Hi Cristina!
That is so cool! Hello to a fellow Canadian!
I live in Ontario and am heading to Montreal in June for a sister weekend away. It is so important to take these rejuvenating trips and reconnect with ourselves, family and nature.
I’m looking forward to seeing how the trip changed your business!
Sincerely,

Aw!! What a wonderful trip you guys had!!!
Thanks for sharing the pictures. I love to find out what everyone’s up to when they’re not in the office
And yes, I did miss you
Erin, it’s nice to hear from a fellow Canuck (too bad Ottawa didn’t win the cup, eh?)
Montreal is the perfect place for a girls-only weekend! You’ll love it and have TONS of fun.
Jenn, I hesitated on whether to post this or not, being that it’s entirely of a personal nature. For some reason, I fear I’ll bore you all by talking about me. But I really want my readers to get to know me better — as a real person — including things I do, even if it’s not directly related to my business.
