Here are 10 tips to beat blogger’s block:

  1. Lower your standards
  2. Start with a headline
  3. End with a deadline
  4. Eliminate distractions
  5. Write at dawn, not dusk
  6. Take a break
  7. Automatically spawn ideas with HitTail
  8. Get a little help from your friends
  9. Capture ideas before you lose them
  10. Breathe

I’ve just recently signed up for HitTail, which is a pretty neat (and free!) application. So I’ll try using it to see if it generates more blog ideas.

I have to disagree with #5. I’m completely useless in the morning. I write my best stuff at night, but then again, my uninterrupted work hours are from 8pm to 1am!!!
