Today marks day one of the 10th annual International Coaching Week.

I wanted to do a super-duper special week-long event to celebrate ICW, but didn’t get around to actually putting a plan together. (Next year, I’ll have to do my planning well before the holidays.)

I didn’t want to drop out of the celebration completely, so I’ll post a daily coaching FAQ in hopes of answering the most common questions that come up about the coaching industry.

Here are the questions I’ll be answering:

International Coaching Week 2008

  • Day 1: What is coaching?
  • Day 2: How is coaching different from consulting, teaching, or therapy?
  • Day 3: What do people get out of working with a coach?
  • Day 4: How much does coaching cost?
  • Day 5: Where does someone find a qualified coach?
  • Day 6: What kinds of people use coaches?
  • Day 7: How does someone know if he or she is ready to work with a coach?

If you’d like an answer to a specific question, feel free to contact me.
