I’ve registered for Meggin McIntosh’s Knowing (and Operating from) Your Strengths call to be held on April 3rd. Because I’ve been talking about the strengths-based model lately, I thought it may interest some of you. If so, here are the details:

  • Who: Professionals who want to know what their strengths are–and then know how to operate from those strengths (rather than forever trying to fix “weaknesses”).
  • What: Teleseminar: “Knowing (and Operating from) Your Strengths
  • When: Thursday, April 3, 2008 from 5:00 - 6:30 Pacific.
  • Where: Via telephone (and it will be recorded for later listening) so you can take part in this class from anywhere!
  • Why: You expend a tremendous amount of energy every day doing the work that you do and keeping up with your personal commitments. What if you could expend the same amount of energy–and be even more successful? Or, what if you expended less energy each day–and were even more successful than you are now? Wouldn’t that be worth learning more about?
  • How? To register for the class, just click on this Tiny URL or go to www.meggin.com, click on the calendar and then scroll to the date of the class.

A little more information from Meggin to help you decide:

I work from a strengths-based model. The best instrument I have ever found to help people identify their strengths and know “why” they need to operate from these strengths is the Gallup Organization’s StrengthsFinder(R) Instrument.

In this teleseminar, I will introduce you to the StrengthsFinder(R) instrument, give an overview of the model, and provide some direction on what to do next.

Bonus: If you register at least a week in advance, you will receive a copy of the new book StrengthsFinder 2.0 as part of your registration fee (just $39) and it will be mailed to you so that you receive it before the teleseminar. You do not need to have read the book prior to the workshop, but it will be great if you have done so–and you will want to have it handy regardless.

Another great resource is Now, Discover Your Strengths by Donald Clifton and Marcus Buckingham, so if you have read that one or have it available, that would be good, because I do refer to that one, too.

Remember, all registrants will receive the book StrengthsFinder 2.0, handouts, and a recording of the teleseminar. Don’t miss out.

Be ready to listen, ask questions, and make notes throughout the class. And expect to have some of your long-held beliefs ‘questioned.’

Thanks! I hope you will be joining me for the learning.

Hope to “see” you on the call!!
