Seeing as I haven’t given birth yet, I figured I’d mosey on over to LinkedIn Answers and pose a new question: What are the 3 biggest mistakes entrepreneurs make when giving their 30-second intro?

Mistakes aside, what are your 30-second intro pet peeves?

On the consumer side, my biggest pet peeve is when someone gives me their pitch yet they haven’t asked me any questions-for all they know, I don’t need their services, I’m not the person to be talking to about their services, or I do the exact same thing! I think if people put their feelers out and knew the audience, it would make the pitch a lot more relevant.

When getting a pitch from someone who wants to network, biggest pet peeve is anything cheesy or anything too long.
