Who cares what others say? Go out there and be everything you want to be and more. No matter what you do, there will always be someone there to complain about it. Stop trying to please everyone else because it’s a losing battle.

  • Don't forget to make a good project/provide a good service. I know a lot of people who stand by similar advice, but don't actually provide enough quality to back up their cocksure take on avoiding criticism.
  • Trying to please everyone is not only a loosing battle but it can often make one miserable and/or upset. I am speaking from experience. I used to knock myself out trying to please everyone and when I couldn't I would get upset.

    I saw it as a failure. I just have a tendency to be a people pleaser. I still am but have modified it. I try to please as many people as I can but realize that not everyone can be pleased and don't get upset over it.
