I have had great success by conducting workshops that help people begin to identify their challenges and start developing a strategy to overcome those challenges. Most people that come to the workshop are grateful for the learning and eager to find out more about coaching. At the end of the workshop I offer some free session by way of a drawing. I ask them to fill out a form with their contact information and an opportunity to sign up for my weekly tips. This has built my coaching business and my list. I have been keeping a journal of my experiences that may be helpful to others just starting a coaching business.
